The 3rd annual Joey Giordano Memorial Fishing Tournament is set for April 10, and those wishing to participate in the tournament can register on the dock the morning of the tournament.
The tournament will benefit the children of the Turning Points Battered Women's Program in honor of Giordano, a Rapides Parish assistant district attorney who was killed in October 2007 during a shootout at his father's law office in downtown Alexandria.
The tournament will be from daylight to 3 p.m. April 10 on the Red River at the Colfax Complex. The entry fee is $150 per team.
